Tall Barnwood Table
This tall table, made of Oak and Beech, in an old world oil finish was completed as a custom project. The height, depth and length were all specified by the future owner.
The Oak and Beech used to make this table was reclaimed from several upper midwest barns. The barns are significant as they are over 150 years old and one was made, by a Civil War Veteran.
One of the legs has a significant organic edge that was created when the early American farmer the Oak log through a mill. The organic edge gives the table amazing character.
Shown above in a fine sanded, no oil finish, note the old square nail left for character.
